Sunday, June 5, just before 10 p.m., a wildfire broke out at the Nord-Drome’s equestrian centre located on chemin des Blaches in Barbieres. “Fortunately, horses were in the meadow,” confided Agathe Vallance (the owner of the site), to the Dauphine Libere.
A thorough investigation is underway, headed by Romans-sur-Isere’s gendarmes, to find out the cause and circumstances of this tragedy.
Soldiers are looking for witnesses. Contact 04 75 70 03 37 if you have any information that could help guide the investigations.
Keep in mind that an internet-based kitty was launched to assist the manager at the equestrian centre.
