Hohenmölsen (dpa/sa) – When reversing out of a parking space, a driver in Hohenmölsen (Burgenlandkreis) drove into two passers-by – and fatally injured a 92-year-old. The woman died on the way to the hospital, a 77-year-old was seriously injured, the police said on Thursday. When parking out on Thursday afternoon, the 85-year-old driver had covered several meters at high speed, it was said. The car came to a stop against the wall of a house. Four witnesses provided first aid at the scene of the accident. The first responders and the person who caused the accident were in shock and received medical care.
