Waldkirchen (dpa / lby) – Employees at a gas station in Lower Bavaria defended themselves against an armed attack by throwing objects and putting the man to flight. As the police announced on Tuesday, a 38-year-old man had attacked a gas station in Waldkirchen (Freyung-Grafenau district) on Sunday and wanted to help himself at the cash register.
He threatened the two employees with a knife. However, they defended themselves by throwing objects at the 38-year-old. The man stole goods in the low double-digit range, but was arrested by the police a short time later. Nobody was injured in the raid.
