Hagen (dpa / lnw) – With an almost circus performance, a motorcycle policeman in Hagen got their ball from a tree for a group of children. The ball had landed high up in the branches – and the children could not reach it with a robber’s ladder or with a long pole. The motorcycle policeman saw the futile efforts and had an idea: he put his service motorcycle under the tree, balanced on the seat – and approached the ball with a pole. “To the delight of the children, who were then able to continue playing,” the police said on Tuesday.
