Thibaut Collet, Grenoble, won the Prague pole vault competition on Monday. He set a personal record of 5.82m.

Thibaut Collet (22) was the French indoor champion with a jump 5.81m.

He is already performing at the required level (5.80m) according to the French Athletics Federation (FFA), in order to be selected for Eugene (Oregon), July 14-25.

He is the current best-performing Frenchman of the summer, surpassing Renaud Lavillenie, who cleared 5.81m Sunday in Chorzow, Poland.
