Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – Team Olympic champion Dorothee Schneider left the competition behind on Sunday evening at the Grand Prix of the Wiesbaden horse show. The judges graded the performance of the 53-year-old from Framersheim with First Romance with a total of 73.239 percent. With that she won clearly ahead of the Belgian Laurence Vanommeslaghe with Havalon (72.826) and Juliane Brunkhorst from Hamburg with Aperol, which was rated with 72.304 percent. After several mistakes, the favorite Isabell Werth (Rheinberg) took fifth place with her mare Superb (71.261).
