Favorite for victory, Damien Oberti C3R5 finished the first day in the lead of the Laragnais rally. The author of three scratches out of four, the Serrois leads David Belhomme by 25 seconds. At 42 seconds, Teddy Bonaventure completes the provisional podium.

Thierry Pascal, title holder, entered in a WRC and the only one who has upset the leader by winning SS 3, is the only one. He had to be forced to retire after the last special because of a mechanical issue.
