Pentling (dpa / lby) – A 65-year-old motorcyclist drove into a trailer truck on the A93 and was seriously injured. According to witness statements, he should not have kept enough distance and overlooked the end of a traffic jam, the police said on Saturday. The man was on the highway near Pentling (Regensburg district) on Friday. When the traffic stopped, he couldn’t brake in time and crashed into the vehicle in front of him. He was taken to a hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
