Just before 5 p.m. on Friday, June 3, the Hautes-Alpes firefighters responded to a motorcycle accident near Avancon. The pilot, aged 40 years old, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The rescue operation was performed by the Smur (mobile emergency resuscitation and resuscitation) from Gap, as well as eight firefighters from La Batie-Neuve (La Saulce). The motorcyclist was taken to the Gap hospital.
