The 43-year-old from Bruck in der Oberpfalz was lying on the sofa when one of his two dogs attacked him on Friday, a police spokesman said. He was able to free himself and fled the house with a four-inch gash. The man came to the hospital. The owner now wants to give the animal away, as the spokesman said. It was unclear what breed the dog was.
