Fulda (dpa/lhe) – Big performance for a medieval hero: This Friday (7.30 p.m.) the musical “Robin Hood” celebrates its premiere in the Fulda Castle Theater. After the two-time postponement in the Corona pandemic, the anticipation of the viewers should be great. The Irish world star Chris de Burgh wrote the music for the piece together with Dennis Martin. In the past few days, the staging had received the finishing touches in a series of previews – these are performances before the premiere.
“Robin Hood” is already the eighth world premiere of the Fulda-based production company Spotlight Musicals, which had previously staged the musicals “Pope Joan” and “Der Medicus”. A total of 177 performances, including the previews, are on the program until October 16th. From December 10 of this year to January 7, 2023, the play will then be a guest at the Hamelin Theatre, with stops in Hanau, Munich and Linz to follow next year.
