Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) – Hesse’s Prime Minister Boris Rhein (CDU) has rejected criticism from the opposition about the state government’s lack of creative will. “We’re there with oomph and energy,” said Rhein in Wiesbaden on Wednesday in his first speech in the state parliament after the election of the new head of government. “We still have a lot of good ideas. We still have an incredible number of plans.” The black-green coalition has momentum and dynamism to bring Hesse into the future.
Rhein named families, climate protection and strong security as the main topics. He will work for a good education, the economy and jobs as well as the equality of living conditions in the country. Hesse must also be resilient in crises. The prime minister intends to present details of his political goals on June 7th in his first government statement in the Hessian state parliament.
