This festival showcases the forest in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. On Saturday, 4 and Sunday, 5 June 2016, the Forest Festival in Belledonne will be back. The Hurtieres Foresters Group is organizing the third edition of its event, in Saint-Georges-d’Hurtieres.
Entertainment, demonstrations (sculpture and logging, grinding, etc.) are all part of the program. Exhibitions (including forestry equipment), catering, and refreshments. Children, adults, professionals, forest enthusiasts, and everyone in between are welcome to the party. The Stihl Timbersports French Sports Logging Trophy competition will be held. This qualifies for the European Trophy. The event’s purpose is to increase awareness about jobs in the wood and forest industries.
