Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – After the fire in a new daycare center in Nuremberg, which was completely destroyed, investigations are being carried out on suspicion of incitement to hatred. A Twitter video with inflammatory content was reported to the police, said a spokeswoman for the Central Franconia police headquarters on Tuesday. In the video, Ukrainian refugees were blamed for the fire. An investigation is currently underway against unknown persons on suspicion of incitement to hatred, it said.
So far, the investigation into the fire has found no evidence of intentional arson. The police said they are still looking for the cause of the fire.
On May 9, a new day care center caught fire and was completely destroyed. The fire brigade worked for days. The timber construction had cost 12 million euros and, according to the city, should have gone into operation in September. There should have been room for 250 children.
