Kodersdorf (dpa / sn) – Unknown people shot an arrow in the head of a calf in the Görlitz district. The owner found the injured animal on a pasture in Kodersdorf on Saturday, the police said. A veterinarian then removed the arrow that was still stuck behind the animal’s ear and treated its wounds. It is unlikely to suffer any permanent damage, it said on Monday. The police are investigating violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
