Riesa (dpa/sn) – police officers rescued two thirsty raccoon babies from Riesa’s city park. A man is said to have found the helpless animals there next to a third raccoon who had died, police said on Monday. At his tip, an officer went to the park and returned to the station with the babies. There he gave them water before the babies were handed over to an animal protection association, it was said. When asked, it was not known how the third animal had died.
