Waren (dpa/mv) – Two women were injured in a boat accident in the Mirow lock (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district) on Saturday. The water police in Waren announced that their motorboat, which was occupied by a total of four people, drove against a boat that was already lying there in the morning when entering the lock for reasons that are still unclear. The two women, aged 54 and 55, got their feet between the boat and the lock wall. They were taken to a nearby hospital.
