Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – Clouds, rain and isolated thunderstorms are the prospects for Hesse at the start of the new week. On Monday, alternating with cumulus clouds, the sun will appear again, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach. The night to Sunday remains mostly dry, only in the early morning some rain comes down in the north – with lows between eight and four degrees.

On Sunday, the sky will usually remain cloudy, according to the DWD. Rain, which initially only affects the northern half, spreads over the course of the day and turns into showers. The meteorologists for Hesse also do not rule out isolated thunderstorms. The temperatures are between 13 and 17 degrees, at high altitudes between 9 and 12 degrees.

In the night to Monday, the temperatures drop to seven to three degrees with isolated showers. During the day, the sky over Hesse is alternately sunny and cloudy – with isolated showers. At a maximum of 15 to 18 degrees, it remains fresh. On Tuesday it will be friendlier with more sun.
