Kierspe (dpa / lnw) – He is said to have been drunk and without a driver’s license: A 17-year-old crashed into a metal fence with a car in Sauerland and was critically injured. The youth was not buckled in the incident on Father’s Day in Kierspe, the police said on Friday. His health is now stable, it said.

According to the police, the 17-year-old first drove down the gutter of a house and then hit a street lamp. Later he went off the road and drove head-on into the fence. The injured were taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The 17-year-old is being investigated because of the numerous offenses on his accident journey.
