Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – Her legs were stuck between metal bars: The fire brigade in Mönchengladbach freed a ten-year-old from a soccer goal. The girl slipped on the goal while playing on Wednesday and got caught between the bars, the emergency services said. Despite intensive efforts, the teaching staff had not succeeded in freeing the child from his predicament. The fire brigade finally pushed the bars apart with a hydraulic spreader and freed the girl after a short time. An emergency doctor found no injuries, they said.
