Hohenstein-Ernstthal/Zwickau (dpa/sn) – In a fire in Hohenstein-Ernstthal (Zwickau district), 14 people were brought to safety from an apartment building. It was initially unclear how the fire started, the police in Zwickau said on Wednesday. Accordingly, the fire broke out on Tuesday evening on the ground floor of the house. The fire department was able to put it out. Traffic was blocked on the street in front of the house while the fire was being put out. The police were not yet able to provide any information on the amount of damage caused.
