Schwerin (dpa/mv) – The Ministry of Education in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is satisfied with the increased use of e-learning offers for exam preparation. “With the e-learning course, we give the students specific offers with which they can train their skills, regardless of location, to better understand and solve exam tasks better,” said Minister of Education Simone Oldenburg (left) on Tuesday in Schwerin. The offer is to be expanded by 2026.

According to the information, offers for the subjects German, English and mathematics, both for the secondary school leaving certificate and for the Abitur, were particularly well received this year. There were a total of 60,500 hits between January and May, a significant increase from 38,000 in the same period last year.

The state government wants to strengthen performance through e-learning offers, especially in the subject of math. In 2021, the results of the written math exams were therefore below average.
