Mannheim (dpa / lsw) – A 53-year-old driver was seriously injured in a collision with a truck in Mannheim. The woman overlooked the truck coming from the left as she drove from a parking lot onto a street, police said late Monday evening. In the collision, she was thrown against a fence in her car. The woman was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter. The 45-year-old driver of the truck was also taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
