New Delhi: South Korean stars Son Yejin and Hyun bin announced on Thursday that they were getting married.
This news comes a year after the couple revealed publicly that they were in a relationship following their appearances in “Crash Landing On You”, a Korean hit drama (2019).
Son, 40, posted a note to her Instagram followers along with a picture of a white gown.
“I spent a lot of time thinking about how to share my story, because it is so important. I found the person to share my entire life with. Yes, it’s him. It just happened naturally. But, isn’t that destiny?” the “Something in the Rain” star wrote.
Son stated that Hyun makes her feel “warm, protected” without mentioning his name.
She added, “Please help me celebrate the beginnings of our future.”
He thanked his fans for their support and love.
“And to all my dearest fans, I have been blessed with unconditional love. For a long time, I believed there was no way I could repay it. She said that she was grateful for all of her support and wished her happiness. Hyun shared a letter from his agency VAST Entertainment, which was posted on Instagram. He said that he decided to marry Son because he “makes me smile every day”.
“I am writing to you to inform about the most important decision in my life to my loyal fans, who have been so kind to me in many different ways and have shown me great love and care.
“I made a significant decision to marry, and I’m now ready to take the next step in my life. I promised to her… She makes me smile every day. He wrote that they would walk together in the days ahead, alongside a photo of them holding hands.
The 39-year old actor stated, “I think you will cheer for our first step with the warm and affectionate youth gaze you have sent us so far.”
Son and Hyun also collaborated in 2018’s action thriller “The Negotiation”.
