The Berlin Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the Rammstein singer, Till Lindemann, for alleged sexual crimes, according to the German public channel ARD.

The Public Ministry has advanced that an ex officio investigation has been opened and that there are also criminal complaints from third parties, that is, they are not involved in the alleged crime.

In recent days, several women have made accusations against Lindemann, in which they claim that they were previously selected and asked if they wanted to attend the party after one of his concerts. At that party, according to the description of several women, sexual acts were performed and cases of violence and abuse are also described. Some of them point out that they were offered alcohol and drugs without asking about their age.

Specifically, the investigation would have been initiated for a crime included in article 177 of the German Penal Code, which regulates sexual assault, sexual coercion and rape.
