It is only 23 years old, but very clear things.
The model and representative of the Basque Country Sarah Loinaz has been crowned this Saturday, October 16 Miss Universe Spain 2021, something that she has dreaming since she was a girl.
She has achieved it thanks to her beauty, the charm of her and the best quality of her, her perseverance, since she had tried before her, in 2017, but she was first finalist.
“If you really want something, you have to fight and follow,” he says in his talk with LOC, in which he has proud about the teaching he thinks he can throw with his feat to the new generations: “I want to send a message of hope”
.
“I take the difficulties as a challenge for my own growth. I have come so mentalized this time that anything could happen, that the only thing I have done has been enjoying,” explains the young woman about this last experience.
Four years ago, she saw how her companion Sofia from Prado Prieto, the candidate of Albacete, was the chosen to take the crown at the detriment of her.
But this 2021 has been completely different: “At that time, I could not believe it, I started crying and I was only going through my head that had achieved it.”
Sarah Loinaz is natural from San Sebastián, but his world has been divided between the Basque Country and Morocco.
“I come from a family of different cultures, my mother is from Morocco and my father of San Sebastian. This has made me open my mind and learn not to point out,” Narra the young woman when asked for her family, to which she
Admire and professes an infinite love, especially to his mother.
“She is my example to follow, she is a very hardworking woman, who has always been sacrificed for giving me an education and values.”
In fact, she has been her source of energy in this contest to achieve her goal: “Just before going on stage, she thought about everything she has done for me.”
The model is honest when confessing that, at the beginning, his family did not grace him that he dedicated himself to the world of fashion.
“When I started, in my family it was something totally unknown because nobody was dedicated to it, it gave them a little bit of fear, but as they saw that it was responsible in my studies, I have never put any impediment.”
The newly crowned Miss Universe Spain also studies Business Administration and Management (ADE), but it is that it thinks that a career “does not mean anything when it comes to having a job security.”
“It is very important to have a notion, values, but I do not think it defines you,” she sentence.
She also recognizes that she is going to have to prioritize her preparation for Miss Universe, but that her intention is to end her studies when she can.
“Every step you give in the race is permanent,” she explains.
His philosophy is that of “without haste, but without pause”.
At the moment, it is the short-term goal of it is to win the Miss Universe contest, which will be held at Eilat (Israel) at the end of the year.
“We are preparing since now. Yesterday was my first day and I slept two hours, but the adrenaline has not let me feel tired at any time.”
The young woman explains that, in the 10 weeks left until “day D”, she has a lot of work ahead, which includes oratory, modeling, body image and even psychological preparation.
“I at the moment, I am very well, calm and calm, but you have to know how to take the pressure, know what my goal is and that the environment is all positive,” she details her.
In the medium and long term, Loinaz does not have it so clear.
He knows that he will end his studies, but not where he will focus on his race.
She comes to her, perhaps, she can merge ADE with fashion, for example with a beauty clinic.
At the moment, she has a reign ahead, that she wants to use so that her example of a diverse family reaches anyone who lives a situation of discrimination due to similar circumstances.
“I want to support diversity, that children feel identified with me, with my history and who believe in themselves.”
It will also take advantage to give visibility to your humanitarian work.
The model is ambassador of the Association Association Solidaria, which merges fashion with altruism, for example, leading uniforms to Africa children so that they can have clothes to go to school or selling creations of the dressmakers that make up to raise funds.
That is, precisely, what the young woman arranges when she is asked about a contest like Miss Universe Spain.
“Many people believe that women are coded, but it is a celebration of femininity and a platform that raises the voice of a woman to help in the cause she sees.”
At the thread of the matter, she does not believe in beauty canons either.
“It has been shown that it no longer matters the height, the measures, the race … the most important thing in the end is to be a good person, because that is going to make you Bella.”
