Eilish teased the announcement on Sunday via Instagram, posting a photo captioned “2022” that showed her in a Glastonbury hoodie and a photo captioned: “2022.” Festival organizers have confirmed that Eilish will be performing on Monday, June 24.

Emily Eavis, organizer, stated that “This feels like the best way for us to come back and I can’t wait!”

It was originally scheduled to celebrate the festival’s 50th anniversary last year. However, it was cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic. It hosted a livestream event lasting five hours featuring Coldplay, Damon Albarn and others.

Eilish has taken the music world by storm since her 2015 debut single, “Ocean Eyes”. She has also won Grammys for album of the Year, song of of the Year, and best new artist.

Eilish made her Glastonbury debut at Glastonbury in 2019, after she was promoted from a spot on the John Peel stage during the five day music festival in Somerset, southwest England.

Eilish is also one of the youngest performers to record and write a James Bond theme tune. Eilish was one of the stars at last week’s “No Time To Die Bond” film world premiere in London.

Eilish will turn 20 in June 2022, and she will be 6 months old.
