The price of light in the wholesale market continues to beat records and if it will start to start October, with a medium price of 216.01 euros on day 1, for the first time in history above 200 euros.
This escalation has been so dizzy that the amount is an increase of more than 100% compared to those already distant 106.57 euros on July 21.

That Wednesday in July a record was milled that was almost 20 years old, the one established on January 11, 2002. Those 103.76 euros that were then paid not only had not been surpassed in about two decades, but until this same 2021
Electricity had never been put again at 100 euros average by megawatt hour.
Since July 20 (101.82 euros) it has already been 57 times, including 24 days of August and the 30 that has September.

Thus, 216.01 euros on Friday will bend the figures that were marked in early summer.
By then electricity was already triggered, with prices much higher than the same periods of other years, but without this succession of records.
In the last three months it has been beaten by 18 occasions.

Throughout the day the price of megawatt hour will not fall from the 1987,7 euros that it will cost on the corresponding sections at 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The maximum, 230 euros, will be marked in two sections: 21:00 and 22:00.

After August closed with an average price of 105.94 euros, September shot up to 156.14 on average, which represents an increase of 47.38%.
The month was chosen by the Government to present its package of measures aimed at lightening the invoice and leaving it at the end of the year at a level similar to that ended 2018. According to the Executive’s calculations, 2021 should end with about 600 euros paid on average
In electricity.

To do this, the extraordinary benefits obtained by the electrications for the CO2 emission costs will be injected into the system and a temporary stop in the gas price will be established.
In this way, companies will transitionally finance the difference between what would rise the price not to apply measures and what will actually come up with them.

Likewise, several of the additional taxes and costs present in the invoice are reduced – the cost of it itself only accounts for around 40% of it – and the figure of the vital minimum supply is introduced, which will be collected in the law of the sector
Electric and is defined as a power of basic comfort conditions (3.5 kilowatts).

In the presentation of these measures, the Government struggled to separate them from the price in the wholesale market, since it is expected to continue climbing in the coming months, in which the records can be expected to continue happening.
The situation may not improve until April and, in any case, from the sector they fear that it does not return to levels prior to this crisis until 2023.
