A medical commission has authorized the Russian director Klim Shipenko and Actress Yulia Peresild shoot the first film in space, ‘the challenge’, according to the Cosmonaut Preparation Center today.

Shipenko and Peresild, one of Russia’s most recognized actresses, were considered “suitable for space flight” that will take place in October.

He also received the approval Anton Shkaplerov, the cosmonaut who will accompany them in his odyssey to the International Space Station (EEI) and who will serve as commander and flight engineer.

In case an unexpected arises, both filmmaker and actress and cosmonaut have substitutes.

All began in May their preparation, which was shorter than usual, both in the case of astronauts and spatial tourists.

The instruction consisted of knowing the aboard systems of the Soyuz ship MS-19 in which they will fly and the Russian segment of the orbital platform in which they will shoot the tape.

In addition, they had to get used to zero severity conditions at the station and learn to react in case of emergency landing in the water on their return to Earth.

They will take off at the beginning of October from the Baikonur cosmodrome, in Kazakhstan, and will remain on the orbital platform for about twelve days.
