The Local Council of Aragon, in which the Aragonese Government and the City Councils have been represented, have agreed to extend until October 31, the suspension of the employers’ parties throughout the Autonomous Community.
The measure affects the parties of the Pilar de Zaragoza, the week of October 12, which will not be held this year either.
This has been announced by the presidency counselor of the Government of Aragon, Mayte Pérez, who has presided over the extended local council meeting, in which they were also present, by telematics, those responsible for the Zaragozano Consistory.
Pérez has pointed out that “it is not the most prudent or most recommended at this time” celebrating the holidays and has based the decision in the epidemiological situation.
He has added that “parties have been suspended before with more favorable accumulated incidents.”
Despite the suspension of pillar festivities, Pérez has indicated that cultural activities may be held, which will have to stick to the restrictions that govern at all times.
The offering of flowers, the most multitudinous act, in this context, remains in the air, since the Councilor of Presidency has not been shrinking when it comes to determining that acts are expressly prohibited.
The City Council of Zaragoza has subsequently reported that meeting that there will be no feet of feasts, although a smaller offering of flowers and adopted to the health situation as well as various cultural events in which it has been working for months.
As Pérez has pointed out, those responsible for the City of Zaragoza have been comprehensive with the prohibition and has not needed “conviction power”.
The measure affects all the employer celebrations that are held before October 31.
The celebration of parties, verbenas and other popular events had been suspended until 24:00 on August 31, 2021 in Aragon.
As of that date, the health authority had to authorize its celebration, provided that the evolution of the epidemiological situation allowed it.
It has not happened: the parties of the Pilar de Zaragoza have been suspended.
