David Blough is her husband and backup quarterback for the Lions. The franchise hosted a watch party in Detroit where the squad began training camp just days ago.

“That was pretty cool, man,” Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell said. It was a great moment.

Gonzalez beat her Colombian national record (55.68) by finishing second in Tokyo with a time 55.32. The Lions prepared a good luck video before the event. Different players came in to the frame to offer encouragement, while others, such as Jared Goff, made a few jokes.

Blough ended the video by walking up to the camera and high-fiving it.

The final of the women’s 400 hurdles will be held Wednesday, August 4.
