A New Mexico mum with three children in the car lately faced her third arrest for impaired driving — this time after having among the children blow into an ignition interlock device so that she could start the vehicle, according to a report.

The suspect, identified as Dailene Lujan, 25, of Isleta Pueblo, was traveling with a younger sister plus a toddler and an infant — when she had been confronted at a petrol station in January after New Mexico State Police received a call about a drunken driver, FOX channel KRQE-TV of Albuquerque reported.

The reacting troopers learned during their investigation which Lujan had taught an 11-year-old child to blow in the interlock apparatus so that the vehicle could begin, the report stated.

The apparatus was set up in Lujan’s car after a previous DUI arrest in February 2019 in which Lujan was pulled around for traveling at about 117 miles per hour, based on KRQE.

Lujan had pleaded guilty to an earlier DUI pursuit in 2016, ” the report stated. She’s awaiting further court actions on the two recent cases, the report stated.
