In the Cathedral of the Western French city of Nantes, a fire has broken out. The fire was however contained, said the head of the local fire brigade, Laurent Ferlay, on Saturday. The damage is limited to the great organ, said Ferlay. These seem to be destroyed “completely” to. The platform on which the organ stand, was unstable and threatened to collapse, said Ferlay. According to the media, more than 100 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
