The singers Andy and Lucas return as guests to the Pasapalabra program after making their debut last year in the Roberto Leal contest.
The people from Cádiz will also share the set with a countrywoman, Elisabeth Reyes.
Andrés Morales Troncoso and Lucas González Gómez, as their names are officially in real life, met at the age of 14 when they went to high school. Both were born in 1982, the year of the World Cup in Spain.
Their first album came in 2003 and since then they have had almost 20 years of professional career and eight albums in their portfolio.
In 2021 they reissued their famous song Son de Amores, which on this occasion featured the collaboration of Abraham Mateo and Lérica. The video clip on YouTube has exceeded 3.5 million views.
The singers retain in this version Son de Amores (V.20.0) the essence of their original song, a fusion of pop and flamenco, but they have modernized it by including Latin rhythms. The guests in this work have readjusted their music and lyrics by modifying part of the verses of the composition.
Last year Andy and Lucas published 20 years in 20 songs, a compilation that brings together their greatest hits reissued with other artists.
This album comes four years after Nueva vida, their eighth album, which was released in 2018. The duo’s latest unpublished song is Me Estoy Volviendo Loco.
The musicians have completed in recent months one of the most complete concert tours of Spain by the musical duo.
Last years Andy and Lucas also participated in the MasterChef Celebrity program in which they recalled their professional career and moments such as when they performed at the United Nations headquarters.
They did not rule out joining the cooking contest if the program management deemed it appropriate in future editions and they could make it compatible with their professional career.
