The Icelandic President cond Jóhannesson has secured a further term in office. The 52-Year-old won the presidential election on the North Atlantic island on Saturday, clearly against his only Challenger, Gudmundur Franklín Jónsson through. After the counting of the one-fifth of the ballot Jóhannesson led in the night to Sunday, with a vote share of more than 90 percent. His opponent Jónsson admitted with some new percent of the vote in the defeat. The exact turnout was not immediately known. Choice around 252.000 Icelanders were entitled to. The exact result should be in the course of the Sunday feast.
