One person was killed and 15 others injured in a Russian missile attack that hit a clinic in the southeastern city of Dnipro, Ukraine’s President Volodimir Zelensky said Friday, saying there could be more victims under the debris.

“We must irrevocably defeat these inhumans as soon as possible,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram account. The Ukrainian president reported that emergency teams are working at the scene of the attack in view of the possibility of more victims.

According to the head of the Military Administration of the Dnipropetrovsk province, Serhii Lysak, among the wounded are two children aged 3 and 6. Two of the hospitalized adults are in serious condition.

The Ukrainian head of state offered his condolences to “the family of the deceased” and condemned this new attack against civilians in these terms: “Russian terrorists once again confirm their status as combatants against everything human and honest.”

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has released a video showing the destroyed building. A column of smoke comes out from inside the infrastructure, around which firefighters can be seen working. In the video you can see a second damaged building and several damaged private cars.

News of the attack on the Dnipro clinic comes hours after Russian forces launched a barrage of drones and missiles into Dnipro last night, destroying various private infrastructure and injuring a gas station attendant.
