CLEVELAND, Ohio — With bellies still full from Fat Tuesday feasts, the Lenten season in the Christian faith has arrived.

Today, Ash Wednesday, marks the beginning of Lent– a season of fasting, service and prayer in the Christian calendar.

The season of Lent lasts for 40 days and will end on Easter Sunday, which falls on April 16 this year.
