CLEVELAND, Ohio – Talk about crazy Northeast Ohio weather: today’s warmth and severe thunderstorms will switch to snow overnight tonight, as temperatures quickly cool with a passing cold front, accumulating light amounts by Thursday morning.
A very strong low pressure system this morning initiated numerous severe thunderstorms, with winds over 58 mph causing widespread damage across the region. One of these thunderstorms even triggered a tornado warning because of radar-indicated rotation, but the funnel cloud never officially touched down.
