A Lehigh County convenience store sold one of three winning tickets in Tuesday’s game-record Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 drawing, lottery officials announced Wednesday.
Tickets sold in Allegheny and Beaver counties also matched the winning number drawn to win a share of the $2 million jackpot.
“We’re thrilled that the largest jackpot in Cash 5 history will be shared by several big winners,” Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko said in a statement Wednesday. “Last night’s historic drawing also created nearly 159,000 other Cash 5 winners all across Pennsylvania.”
The jackpot-winning tickets matched all five balls drawn — 03-04-12-15-39 — to each win $666,667, minus taxes. The winning tickets were sold by:
Sunoco, 1602 S. 4th St., Allentown, Lehigh County.
Community Supermarket, 1710 Pacific Ave., Natrona Heights, Allegheny County.
Marathon, 3608 Broadhead Road, Monaca, Beaver County.
Each retailer earns a $5,000 selling bonus, according to the lottery.
This record Cash 5 jackpot, totaling $2,000,001, had been growing since Jan. 7, when a $125,000 jackpot was won by one ticket sold in Allegheny County. The game’s previous record was a $1.9 million jackpot that was split by two winning tickets in 2013.
Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. The prizes must be claimed and the tickets validated before the winners can be identified.

The Lehigh Valley region office is at 555 Union Blvd., Suite 5, in Allentown.
More than 158,900 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing. Players are advised to check every ticket, every time. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at lottery retailers.
In Lehigh County, during the fiscal year 2015-16, the Pennsylvania Lottery says it awarded more than $58.2 million in prizes to winners and provided more than $27.5 million to programs that benefit older residents.
