Two types of Trader Joe’s applesauce were recalled Sunday after some customers found pieces of glass in the jars.

Two types of Trader Joe’s Applesauce have been pulled from shelves after some customers reported the jars contained pieces of glass. FDA 

All products have been removed from store shelves and destroyed, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The company said the recall applies to 24 ounce glass jars of the following types of applesauce sold across the country:

  • Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce with all use before dates through Oct. 6, 2018
  • First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce with all use before dates through Aug. 8 2018

Anyone who bought those kinds of applesauce may bring them back to Trader Joe’s for a full refund.

One other style of applesauce was recalled, but the affected jars of All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce weren’t sold in the northeast.
