Thousands of Spaniards are called to the polls to vote on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in the municipal and regional elections.

The polling stations will open their doors from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for voters, while the members of the polling stations must be there one hour before, at 8:00 a.m., and their departure time will depend on the time it takes them to count the votes.

Although there are a few weeks left, citizens can now find out which is their electoral college and at which table they have to vote. They can do so with the census letter that they will receive at their homes or through the website of the National Institute of Statistics (INE), where you can check in which electoral college to vote.

The procedure is very simple. The voter must enter the INE website and enter various personal data: province, initial of their first surname, home address and municipality. With these data, the server will quickly give you the answer about your polling station and polling station.

Likewise, some municipalities, such as Madrid, have enabled an electoral census search engine on their web pages where citizens registered in the city can consult by entering their ID, name and date of birth which is their school and polling station.

It must be remembered that, as in other elections, those people who have voted by mail will not be able to go to the polling station in person.
