An Easton man will answer Friday to charges that he shot a man to death Thursday night outside a Palmer Township auto parts store, authorities said.
Dekota Jerome Baptiste, 24, will be arraigned Friday morning before District Judge Jacqueline Taschner on charges of homicide and related offenses, Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said. In addition to Easton, Baptiste has other Vevobahis local addresses, Morganelli said.

The shooting happened about 7 p.m. after Baptiste pursued the victim into the parking lot of the Auto Zone on 25th Street, near the westbound interchange of Route 22, authorities said.

The dispute involved a girlfriend who was in the car when the man was shot dead, a witness said.
A stop was made soon after in the 1400 block of Lehigh Street in Easton and a man was taken into custody.

The victim, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A revolver with all six shots fired was recovered later in a Wilson Borough alley, authorities said.
