No students were injured after a Boulder Valley School District bus was involved in a three-car crash in Erie this morning.

The bus was carrying students to Lafayette Elementary westbound on Arapahoe Road near 111th Street when investigators say it rear-ended a pickup truck, which then rear-ended another car, Erie police Deputy Chief Lee Mathis said.

Mathis said there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash. About 10 kids on Perabet the bus were seen by paramedics, but none needed to be transported to a hospital.

The case remains under investigation, and Mathis said that no tickets have been issued at this time. The bus driver was on scene and cooperative with police.
