During a Q&A session in Los Angeles to promote her new movie ‘His Three Daughters’, Natasha revealed that she spent years hating the audition process due to the constant rejection she faced. However, after stepping behind the camera as a producer, director, and writer, she realized that rejection is not personal. She expressed that she had spent most of her life thinking that she just needed to do a good enough job to succeed in auditions.
Despite her past struggles with auditions, Natasha’s co-star in ‘His Three Daughters’, Elizabeth Olsen, shared a different perspective. Elizabeth mentioned that she loves auditioning because it gives her the opportunity to act for a day and focus on something for 20 minutes. She acknowledged that there is a potential for failure in auditions but emphasized the value of trying something new and building a connection with the casting directors.
The actress also praised Neve Campbell’s performance in ‘Wild Things’, describing her as a wonderful actress and acknowledging that the film still holds up.
