Junto Nakatani successfully made weight for his upcoming fight against Thailand’s Petch CP Freshmart, coming in at 117 ¾ pounds, just under the divisional limit. The fight is set to headline an ESPN+ quadrupleheader at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, featuring three title fights.

Nakatani, the three-division WBC bantamweight titlist, is coming off a first-round knockout victory over Vincent Astrolabio. This will be his third fight of the year with the WBC bantamweight title on the line.

On the other hand, CP Freshmart, also known as Tasana Salapat, will be entering his first career title fight. The 30-year-old southpaw has an impressive record of 76-1 with 53 knockouts, but most of his wins have come against lesser competition.

In the co-feature of the evening, Tenshin Nasukawa will face Gerwin Asilo in a ten-round regional title fight. Nasukawa, a former kickboxing star, recently scored a knockout victory and is being fast-tracked towards title contention.

Kosei Tanaka, the four-division WBO junior bantamweight titleholder, will be facing unbeaten South African contender Phumelele Cafu. Both fighters made weight for the fight after Tanaka’s previous title defense was canceled due to his opponent missing weight.

The event will also feature a fight between recently crowned WBO flyweight titlist Anthony Olascuaga and former WBO 108-pound beltholder Jonathan ‘Bomba’ Gonzalez. Olascuaga, coming off a third-round knockout victory, will be defending his title for the first time.

The entire event will be broadcast live on ESPN+ starting at 4:00 a.m. ET. This event follows a four-title fight event held the previous day at the same venue, presented by Mr. Honda’s Teiken Promotions in association with Top Rank and All Star Boxing, Inc.
