The Civil Guard is investigating the theft of an ATM that was torn from the wall with the help of a backhoe and a truck in the town of Don Álvaro, Badajoz, as sources from the force have confirmed to Europa Press.
The event occurred in the early hours of Friday to Saturday at an ATM at the local Banca Pueyo and, for the moment, the stolen ATM has not appeared and the investigation remains open.
This ‘modus operandi’ of robbery has been “very similar” to the one used last week with an ATM in the Badajoz town of Aljucén, although on that occasion the ATM appeared shortly after.
