The Valencian supermarket chain will open its doors on December 31 with new reduced hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. compared to closing at 7:00 p.m. in 2022. All Mercadona stores will remain closed on January 1 .

Alcampo on December 31 also applies special hours for New Year’s Eve from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in most centers, although some will remain open until 10:00 p.m. Their centers will be closed on January 1.

Carrefour modifies its usual Sunday hours for December 31. Your supermarkets will have special hours from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in some of their centers. On January 1, its stores will not be open to the public in Spain.

The Aldi chain on December 31 reduces its usual opening hours as it is Sunday. On New Year’s Eve their stores will only be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closes on January 1st.

Special hours also next Sunday, December 31 at Lidl. Like the rest of the large chains, they will have special hours for New Year’s Eve from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On January 1, Lidl stores will not open.
