The Popular Party has denounced this Saturday that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has used the Falcon to travel from La Coruña to Santiago de Compostela for a PSOE event, when it would have taken just 28 minutes by train and about 40 by car.
According to sources from the PP, this formation will demand official information in the Congress of Deputies and the Senate for what they consider a “partisan use of public media, which, although common in Pedro Sánchez, this time is even more grotesque than at other times.”
The popular ones complain that “an Air Force plane cannot be used as if it were a taxi service for the general secretary of the PSOE.”
And they add: “In order for the socialists to save some plane tickets or for Sánchez to save a transfer by car or train, we Spaniards have paid for a plane transfer equivalent to a Madrid-Navacerrada, less than a Valencia-Benicassim, similar to a Málaga-Marbella and inferior to a Barcelona-Salou”.
The PP spokesperson in Congress, Miguel Tellado, has criticized Sánchez’s trip on social networks, putting it in relation to the commitment, included in the Government agreement signed by him and the leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, that all internal flights that have an alternative train journey lasting less than three hours.
“Pedro Sánchez’s audacity, arrogance and arrogance have no limits,” he protested. “Using the official Falcon to attend a party event is inadmissible. Partisan use of public media. It rains in the wet. These are the ones who wanted to eliminate short flights in Spain. They do take us Spaniards for ‘short’. No “They are going to silence us…”, added Tellado.
