The court of first instance number 56 of Madrid will hold a hearing on December 14 in which the lawyers of actor Rodolfo Sancho and his son Daniel will ask that Mediaset be prohibited from continuing to report on the private life of the young man, imprisoned in Thailand accused of the murder of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta.

As reported by Rodolfo Sancho’s spokesperson office, the actor has hired the legal services of Averum Abogados for his legal defense against the constant disclosure of information “belonging to the strict privacy” of Daniel and “unfounded news” about him that they do not keep. any connection with the criminal process.

On December 14, they will request as a precautionary measure the suspension of all information about the private life of Daniel Sancho.

The objective is to protect the fundamental right to privacy and honor of Daniel Sancho and that information that “only seeks morbidity and sensationalism” does not harm his legal defense in Thailand.

According to lawyer Mario Bonacho, it has been decided to act “against the media outlet that has most invaded the private sphere for months” of the detainee, but other media outlets will also be sued that “although they do not adopt the caliber and television volume of Mediaset , have also engaged in similar practices that are invasive of their fundamental rights.

On November 13, in a hearing held in a court on the island of Samui (Thailand), Daniel Sancho, in provisional prison since August, pleaded not guilty to the premeditated murder of Arrieta, as well as making his passport disappear, two of all three charges against him, but pleaded guilty to dismembering and hiding his body.
