The Popular Party has launched its machinery to carry out rallies in the 52 provincial capitals in response to the pact between PSOE and the independentists to allow the inauguration of Pedro Sánchez in exchange for several transfers, among which the amnesty law stands out. to erase the crimes committed during the process and the illegal 1-O referendum.

“On November 12 we will be in the squares of all the capitals of Spain remembering that we are a democracy and a rule of law,” the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced a few days ago about the demonstrations against the amnesty. “On the 12th, at 12 noon,” he specified during the call to mobilize this Sunday.

For the equality of all Spaniards, not for amnesty, reads the motto of the demonstration. “We are not going to be intimidated and no one is going to silence us in the face of the constant abuses that are taking place to make it possible, at the expense of the citizens and the current legality, for Pedro Sánchez to remain president of the Government at the expense of whatever it may be,” explains the PP statement

The rally against the amnesty in Madrid takes place this Sunday at Puerta del Sol starting at 12:00 p.m. The idea is to concentrate on the square where the headquarters of the Madrid government is located, chaired by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who has also confirmed her attendance at the call. There is therefore no route planned beyond that in the streets adjacent to Puerta del Sol they can concentrate part of the protesters.

According to information from the Madrid city council, there are expected incidents and traffic cuts in Puerta del Sol and surrounding roads between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The council also points out other points in the capital where traffic cuts are planned on November 12: Plaza de España, Gran Vía and Plaza de Callao, between 12:15 and 2:15 p.m., as well as on Avenida de los Poblados , from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
